Closing Message: Tran Thanh, Project Officer of VietDHRRA, the youngest DHRRA member closed the sessions by recognizing his role  and other younger DHRRA members as primarily responsible in protecting the environment and making rural communities a better and safer place.

Ways Forward: Marlene Ramirez, AsiaDHRRA Secretary general guided the assembly on the next steps of the regional study aiming finalization by January 2018 to be presented to relevant decision and policy working bodies. She puts forward continued coordination with DHRRA, together with regional and national partners in response mobilization for  regional facility for disaster preparedness and livelihood recovery.

Responses from partners:Partners from ASEAN Secretariat, GIZ, AFA, Agri-agencies, and AgriCord collectively highlighted from the reports the: specified scoping, linking to Public, Private, People Partnership (PPP), knowledge hubs, farmer-led initiatives, strengthening gender agenda, and linking role of youth in the campaign.

Plenary 3: Angelita Gregorio-Medel, AsiaDHRRAConsultant on M& E, synthesized the workshops outputs on AsiaDHRRA's draft framework paper on climate resiliency. She lifts out common discussions from the group reports which includes: target communities, gender mainstreaming, and involvement of youth in the process.
